Tournament Details

 

COVID 19 Precautions

 

1. This tournament will be a private event where only participating teams & players can attend the event in staggered timing. It will be closed to non-participating players. Respective timing will be provided to each team once the registration has been closed.
2. Safe Distancing & Temperature taking will be conducted before the event. Players who are not feeling well will not be allowed to compete in this tournament. Teams will be separated and will not be allowed to interact with one another physically.
3. The overall scope of this event will be conducted online via Playpark SGMY Facebook Page.
4. We will also reduce minimal contact with players and use a more digital approach to handle all event aspects (such as registration).
5. The areas which the team uses will be disinfected thoroughly before the next team arrives.

 

Tournament Rules

 

1. Teams are not allowed to swap player positions once registration has closed. In the situation where a player is not feeling well, we would allow teams to change player on the respective lineups. Players who are removed from the team cannot be added back to the team later.
2. Map used during tournament will be Hip Hop Street. All players must keep map turned on (Black screen settings is not allowed).
3. Substitution event accounts will be used throughout during the event.
4. Players will not be allowed to use their personal devices such as keyboard/mouse/headset during the tournament. All players must use the allocated PC and it’s provided gears.
5. All players will use the default PC specifications.

 

Tournament Mechanics Explained

 

1. Each team consists of 4 members (1 leader & 3 players). Team arrangement (such as Player 1, 2, 3 & Leader) should be done during the registration and cannot be changed once registration is closed.
2. Team Line-up (Leader, Player 1,2,3) will only be revealed during the start of tournament.
3. Team Leaders will submit 2 songs each during registration that will be banned during the Team Leader’s battle throughout all rounds the team competes in. 6 Team Leaders in a room = maximum of 12 songs to be banned.
4. There will be 4 games in each round (Qualifiers, Semi, Finals), each played by a representative of the team (which is fixed throughout the whole tournament). e.g. Team Leader will always battle with another team’s Team Leader, Player 1 vs Player 1, etc.
5. In every game, points are awarded to the players depending on the placement ranking. These points contribute to the team’s overall score. The top X teams with the greatest number of points in the 4 games will advance to the next round. If there is a draw in total points, the tie breaker will be determined by the combined score of all team members.
