DATE : November 8, 2024

8 November 2024: Asphere Innovations Public Company Limited has announced its Q3/2024 financial results, reporting revenue of THB 265.8 million and a net profit of THB 37.5 million. The primary revenue driver remains the company’s robust PC gaming sector, maintaining steady income levels. However, a reduction in the number of games in operation and the absence of new game launches this quarter led to a revenue and net profit decrease of 1.9% and 23.4%, respectively, from the previous quarter.

For the nine-month period, the company reported cumulative revenue of THB 888.2 million, marking a decline of 16.2% compared to the same period last year, while cumulative net profit increased to THB 163.3 million, up by 5.4%. This increase was achieved through stringent cost management, restructuring to align with current business conditions, and optimizing marketing expenses to maximize efficiency.

During Q3, the company also benefited from partial divestment in Bitkub Online Co., Ltd., realizing a profit of THB 40.96 million, along with a gain of THB 405.97 million from revaluation of investments. As a result, other components within shareholders’ equity increased by THB 240.47 million.

As part of its business expansion strategy with the PlayPark Service model, an end-to-end service for game developers seeking entry into the Southeast Asian market, Asphere Innovations aims to create new revenue opportunities. The company has begun building brand awareness in overseas markets by showcasing its services at major game events, including ChinaJoy 2024 in China this past July and the upcoming G-Star 2024 event in South Korea this November.

Additionally, in Q4/2024, the company introduced two new games in the Southeast Asian market. MeloJam, a mobile rhythm game that broadens the company’s reach into the casual gaming segment, launched on 21 October 2024. Rakion, an MMORPG for PC, is expected to launch within Q4, bolstering revenue and diversifying the company’s portfolio.
