- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, test data, test reports, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate software applications.
- Control, take care of the process, and test the quality checking to make sure that it is well aligned with the quality standard.
- Analyze and improve the process of quality checking and testing to increase the efficiency of the quality checking process.
- Identify, isolate, and document software defects and track them to resolution.
- Collaborate with software developers and project managers in the related department to understand product requirements and timelines.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.
- Automated testing processes where applicable to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings to provide input on testability and potential quality issues.
- Provide timely and accurate status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the QA field.
- Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and standards within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, Database Testing, Stored Procedure Testing, testing methodologies, and tools.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and testing cases.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
