Head of Data Manager

The Head of Data Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s data management strategy and operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization effectively collects, processes, stores, and utilizes data to drive business decisions, maintain data integrity, ensure data security, and comply with relevant regulations. The Head of Data Manager will develop and implement data governance frameworks, enhance data quality, and foster a data-driven culture within the organization.

  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, scientists, database administrators,
    and data engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions and insights.
  • Develop and implement data strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems.
  • Drive the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to identify trends, patterns,
    and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
    and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure data governance and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data management and analytics.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a data-driven organization.
  • Experience with architecture design and setup of data management open-source platforms
    from scratch, such as databases, Hadoop, or cloud-based data warehouses, data lake, and lake house.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of developing and motivating
    high-performing teams.
  • Quick learner, ability to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative and team environment, as well as the ability to work independently.
  • Good command of written English.
  • Certifications in data management or analytics (Optional)
